City of Daphne's Innovation and Science Complex (DISC) grant

The City of Daphne's Industrial Development Board and collaborative partners were awarded $846,583 by the Economic Development Administration for Phase I of the City's Innovation and Science Complex. Gray Matter Consulting and its team identified the appropriate grant and drafted and submitted the grant through the Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration.

This highly competitive award allowed the City of Daphne to fund infrastructure improvements to the proposed 30-acre complex which will eventually be the first Class A office space in Baldwin County, and to allow the region led by the City of Daphne to focus on attracting more high-technology businesses to service to growing aerospace and port-related industrial sectors.
